Micro-Needling - Dermapen
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that’s used to treat skin concerns via collagen production. This treatment will help those looking to reduce the appearance of acne pitted scars and stretch marks. It’s also used in certain anti-aging procedures, such as fine lines, skin tightening, open pores and sun spots-pigmentation. Micro-needling is also effective for hair loss treatment due to stimulating blood flow and collagen in the hair follicle. The skin is cleansed and prepped with a numbing cream for 20 minutes (depending on the needle depth used) before treatment to ensure comfort. A sterile needle is then fixed to the pen to perform the treatment. Medical camouflage tattooing is the same as a traditional tattoo. The only difference is instead of black ink we use a skin toned coloured ink to match your unique skin tone in the area to disguise your unwanted scars/stretch marks.
How does it work:
The treatment works in the same way as a traditional tattoo where the ink is needled into the skin to create a camouflage for your unwanted scars/stretch marks.
What to expect:
After effects to be expected following the treatment are redness, swelling, slight pin point bleeding, tenderness and or scabbing. This can last for up to a few days depending on the individual.
When will i see results:

Any kind of stretchmarks and scars can be treated as long as they are lighter than the surrounding skin in order for the tattoo to work, although we do also use enlightening serums for darker scars with needling to improve and fade their appearance.

What is it:
CryoPen™ is a state of the art treatment that uses extreme cold, or cryotherapy, to painlessly and safely destroy unwanted, benign and superficial lesions on the surface of the skin, such as warts, skin tags, verrucae, milia, cherry angiomas, scars, and resistant hyperpigmentation.
How does it work:
The CryoPen™ freezes at a rate of approximately 1mm per 5 seconds. The nitrous oxide destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid in a matter of seconds, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell. That means there will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue.
What to expect:
Within minutes after freezing, surrounding skin will become red and begin to swell. In most cases a blister will actually form within 3-6 hours. Often there is a small amount of bleeding into the blister which will turn it dark purple of black. This is expected and should not be cause for concern. A crust will form over the lesion, which typically, after about 10 to 14 days, will fall off and the skin will then be healed.
